Master Pilot Award Recipients, June 2005

Kenneth A. Brown Franklin F. Sherman Eugene A. Bielecki Lowell M. Cornell Jr. Norman J. Bishop Robert G. Danis Joseph S. Ludovici Seven RIPA members (above) were honored in June 2005 with the United States of America Department of Transportation FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. This award honors those who have been flying for 50 years or more without mishap. Do the math! This means that these members of RIPA alone represent over 350 years of flying experience and expertise. Don & Nate Bousquet, January 2013
 
Don Bousquet, at the podium, was a guest speaker at our January meeting, sharing his stories and humor about their Aerial Photography business using radio control airplanes. His Son Nate is holding one of the planes used to take the pictures. The picture below shows a micro RC airplane called Night Vapor which Nate flew around the room. It has a wingspan of only 15 inches and weighs less than an once.
